GenoScan® - Your automated evaluation of GenoType®- and GenoQuick® assays

GenoScan®The GenoScan® system has been specially developed for the rapid and reliable analysis and result interpretation of line probe assays. The GenoScan® system comprises a reader with specific software, hence allowing the automated analysis of the GenoType®- and GenoQuick®-assays. After the automatic hybridization of the GenoType®- assays, the DNA•STRIP®s can be read and analyzed directly from the incubation tray. The GenoQuick®-assays are applied to a custom made template and then placed in the reader. 
The software of the GenoScan®´system conducts an objective and fast analysis of the test strips. Test specific evaluation criteria submitted to the software allows automatic band detection and assessment of band intensity guaranteeing a reliable evaluation.
In addition, the program stores the results and images of the processed strips electronically. Results can be printed and exported to a connected LIMS.
Therefore, manual pasting and storage of the developed strips is redundant.
